Weekly Backup
What data do the weekly VPS backups feature? Precisely how does this backup service work?
Unlike a shared web hosting account where the data is backed up by the service provider, when you employ a virtual or a dedicated hosting server you will need to keep manual backups since this type of a service isn't included by default. As good as a web server may be, there is always a chance that something may go wrong. For example, you might delete some content by mistake or a script-driven application could get damaged after an update. If you have a backup, you won't have to be concerned about this type of issues as the content can be easily restored. Considering that it may not be really practical to do this all of the time on your end, we offer an optional backup service for every one of our hosting server packages and we will store a copy of your content on an individual machine to make certain that it's undamaged no matter what. With the upgrade, you'll be able to work on your server without worrying that you may lose any information due to any reason.
Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers
If you get one of our dedicated servers and you determine that you would like a backup of your content, you could include this service with a couple of mouse clicks and our system will start keeping copies every week at once. You could order the upgrade together with the machine or at some point later using your billing CP in case that you do not need backups from the start. The service shall give you 50 gigabytes of disk space on a separate machine and this content can be restored on our end. Although we check the equipment and the software before we hand over any new dedicated hosting server, you may never know if some update won't go wrong, so in case you have critical info on the hosting server, you would be better off with this upgrade. Backups are also offered with the Managed Services upgrade, which incorporates lots of other useful management tasks which we offer to our clients.
